Comic Fiesta 2011 report + Happy New Year

Oh hi~

Yes, pardon for my lateness in everything...orz
I keep procrastinating to post up the report now and then ;w; yeah, now imma bit hardworking, so....

Yes. The report.

Comic Fiesta 2011 that was held on 17 & 18 December last year was quite a hectic. The venue itself attracted too many visitors, and not just the ACG fans. This ended up with the lockdown of Hall 5 where the events was held. A lot of people cannot went into the hall due to the massive amount of peoples coming in. I arrived a bit late, thinking that it'll probably turned out like 2010's event. But no. It was the most craziest event I've ever saw! The line of people that queuing to enter the halls were so long that I was too afraid to go in, even with free tickets...OTL

So me and my friends hang out at the outside of halls, which was damn hot! We were a bit disappointed with the management. We only got into Hall 4 at 5pm which was late already. AND I MISSED SHIMOKAWA MIKUNI'S PERFORMANCE!!!!! QAQ

Nevertheless, I got the chance to meet cosplayer friends, new and old~~~ I was so happy that I can't get that stupid grin outta my face..lol~ We exchanged Curecards, and I gotta say, I got quite a lot of them, considering this was my 1st time went and exchanged Curecards~

Ok, we'll save the crappy story later =w=

1st day I was cospalying Tomoyo Daidouji from Cardcaptor Sakura, the chinese princess version. No, I don't think people recognize my character at all, considering the wig wasn't braided like it supposed to be, and the version was less known to the crowd too. Only Sakura's hair was the point to people to recognize us...lol~ btw, Sakura is cosplayed by mah best twin, Nina~<3

2nd day, I cosplayed Jude Mathis from Tales of Xillia. *sigh* the costumes was a bit of disaster, and imforeveralone ;w; I also didn't think people recognized Jude very well, since Tales of Xillia is still new. /shrugs

As you know, my endless craziness for Amu never stop (ok, so that's the use of word 'endless' orz). well anyway! What surprised me was that he's going to be released two albums!!!! Now that's what we call paradise XDDD

First of all....

THOUSANDS APOLOGIES!!!!

I'm so sorry for the lackness of updating...TAT forgive me guys!
I've been so busy with assignments and all...

ok, we shall stop the endless apologies of mine =w=

Since i'm lacking of any materials to update, i'll just go with my Comic Fiesta WIP.
1st day is a secret....that's because i don't have the pictures to reveal...lol. So I'll show you what i'll be doing for day 2. Day 2 is my grand day to bishieness~ <3<3<3

Jude Mathis from Tales of Xillia. He's just right for me. 163cm and kinda baby-faced. but the biggest flaw is his costumes is THE PATTERNS!!!!! god dammit!! what did i think when i chose him?????

oh yeah..it's because he's cool? orz

Anyhow! I got myself Leia Roland~ Yesh! I'm not foreveralone!!!! Luckily her costume is not that difficult, so I  think I can manage to the costume within 2 days...I hope.

And to think i have art commissions to cope up with... TwT I feel like a super genius right now. All I did to earn something for my boring life...sobs

Fast and quick update ;))

After one week of GAMP, i went to GAMEX which was very near to my place, Hatten Square. It's a bit disappointing considering that there's so few cosplayers out there TwT. But most of the cosplayers attended were seniors yo~ XDDD and to mention, i sat more than i walked. yeah, i'm that lazy..lolol~ i found Wani my dear daughter, Alistair my dear ex-taichou, Dave the trollface and my dear uncle Will...>w<b

Costume: This Otoya debut version came up in a spur of moment! i was supposed to do the stage/STARISH version and i already bought the expensive blingbling cloth!!!! I had to change my plan, didn't i? *shakes head*
It's the first time i used velvet. it was easy to handle and you don't need to interlock it =w= the cons is that it's very very hot to wear!!! but, i got lucky that in the mall, it's very freezing~ the gold laces and lining were glued...lol. i don't have much time to sew it all. but i like how bling it looked~ i need to improvise more on the wig and costumes lining =v=b

GAMP 2011

Heyho folks!

sorry for it's been a while since i posted anything. I don't have any material to post, so...pardon the laziness ;w;

anyway, last Saturday (22/10), I had gone to GAMP events at International Medical University (IMU). It's quite sometimes since i've been to any events, hence, this event made me doki doki~ lol
and not to mention, it's Hetalia Day folks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited that many Hetalia plans came into my mind >w<
but finally, due to time and budget constraint, i've chosen to go with Gakuen Hetalia. It's easy and all moe. Imagine me being moe...*vomits blood* and yes, i managed to drag my two friends along to play with me..lolol~

and so, i cosplayed as Seychelles-chan. MOE FTW!!!! seriously, being a moe was pain in the arse! you gotta sit..umm...just see the pictures...

About the costume: Yeah, i hand-sewn this skirt from scratch! Seriously hate hand sewing because the needles kept sticking to my finger, not to mention, it took a longer time TAT I also made the other skirt for my friend, while the last one made by its particular cosplayer. haha~
And i got trouble in getting the pleating right. It might seems easy, doing a skirt, but it took the hell outta me! and the amount of fabrics it consumed...i definitely won't want to do skirt if i were given a choice =.=

ah, yes, about the event...

Well, there's not many people or cosplayers around. I dunno why... But there were quite a number of Hetalia cosplayers! Ah~ I'm glad there's many people growing to love Hetalia~<3
Anyway, i found Siew Li as Nyotalia Russia 2P version. We've been chatting through facebook a lot, so this meeting kinda excites us to the max...lol~ She's really adorable as Russia~
I also managed to meet many friends throughout the event, and I was really really happy! They are all nice people ;w;b
